About Us: The Ickworth, part of Luxury Family Hotels, is entering an exciting new chapter following its refurbishment. Join our team as Spa Manager and play your part in shaping the future of this much-loved Suffolk retreat.

The Role

As Spa Manager, your core purpose will be to lead the spa operation, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and drive revenue through outstanding service and product knowledge.

This is a permanent role at 40 hours per week (flexibility to work weekends is essential), with a competitive salary plus bonus and a brilliant benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:-

Spa & Treatment Operations:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the treatment rooms
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the spa team
  • Take ownership of the spa budget and financial performance
  • Oversee staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels
  • Manage stock control and ordering of treatment products
  • Drive in-house marketing and promotion of treatments to guests

Guest Experience:

  • Ensure all guests are welcomed to the spa in line with LFH standards
  • Consult with guests to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly

Treatment Delivery:

  • Perform treatments in line with brand guidelines
  • Create a relaxing, comfortable, and professional experience for every guest
  • Use expert knowledge to explain treatments clearly and suggest suitable adaptations when requested

Retail & Product Promotion:

  • Actively promote and sell spa treatments and retail products
  • Provide knowledgeable, honest recommendations tailored to individual guest needs
  • Maximise revenue while maintaining excellent guest satisfaction

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Spa Manager within a destination spa or hotel spa
  • A recognised spa qualification such as Spa UK NVQ Level 3, ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO, or equivalent in beauty treatments and massage
  • Elemis experience is highly desirable (training will be provided)
  • A genuine passion for spa and wellness, with the ability to share your knowledge and expertise with guests
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for guests
