UKSA BOARD MEMBER REQUIRED – SCOTLAND
The UK Spa Association (UKSA) is pleased to announce that we are seeking a Board Member based in Scotland to join our Board team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional from the spa, wellness, hospitality or education industry to help shape the future of our sector.
UKSA Board Members volunteer their time, knowledge and expertise to support industry development, represent our members and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.
We are specifically looking for someone based in Scotland who can strengthen regional engagement, connect with Scottish members and bring valuable insight from the Scottish spa and wellness landscape.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine passion for the spa, wellness, hospitality or related industries
• Is a strategic thinker with ideas, energy and a collaborative approach
• Can represent the views and needs of members
• Is willing to share knowledge, build relationships and support industry initiatives
• Has a strong understanding of the Scottish spa sector
• Can dedicate time to support UKSA initiatives
What the role involves
As a Board Member, you will:
• Attend three in-person Board meetings per year
• Join monthly online update meetings
• Support UKSA events and industry initiatives
• Contribute to Regional Spa Leadership meetings
• Represent UKSA at industry events
• Support engagement with colleges, schools and training providers
• Share ideas and insight to support positive industry development
Time commitment
This is a voluntary role requiring a manageable but meaningful commitment throughout the year.
We ask Board Members to be engaged, prepared and actively involved in supporting UKSA priorities and member engagement.

If appointed, what initiative or project would you introduce or support to benefit members and strengthen the industry?
3. Looking Ahead – “The future of our industry”
What changes will the industry need to embrace over the next five years and how can the UKSA support this?

All applications will be treated confidentially. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview with the General Manager and a UKSA Board member. Online interviews will take place between 10th – 14th August.
