In order to drive significant growth for our industry, we need to raise public awareness of the many benefits that we offer.
For too long we've been viewed as a rather elitist industry, that is considered a 'once in a blue moon' luxury treat rather than an every day health and emotional wellbeing essential.
We want the UK public to recognise that regular spa attendance and spa treatments are as important to the nations physical, mental and emotional health as regular gym attendance.
Public campaigning is an essential part of the work that the UKSA does on behalf of you and the wider industry. That said, we would urge all our members to get involved in our campaigns, as the more operators we have working together, the bigger the impact on the public will be!
Part of our Work for Wellness campaign will be joining schools, colleges and career open days across the UK to share all the great benefits about working in the Spa Industry.

On Wednesday, June 19th Sarah Ronchetti, one of our UKSA board members went to Exeter College to deliver a careers talk and presentation to their Beauty Therapy Students. It was well received and we thank them for inviting us in to talk to their students.

Buckinghamshire College Group Open Day
On Monday 17th June Buckinghamshire College Group hosted representatives from Champneys, Cliveden House Hotel & Spa, Hartwell House Hotel & Spa and the UK Spa Association, who engaged with level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy students providing talks, trade tests and career discussions. They revealed valuable insights, top tips and career guidance for the final year students.

We were delighted to attend Evesham College to give a careers talk to Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy Students. We discussed the role of the UKSA in the Spa Industry and how it can support people through their entire careers in the industry. We also touched on what different career paths are possible in spa and what they can look like.
